Now in its 16th sequin-spangled year, the Exotic World Burlesque Museum's annual Miss Exotic World Pageant & Striptease Reunion showcases the world's top burlesque and striptease talents, who travel from all over the globe in hopes of taking home the most coveted title in competitive bump & grind: Miss Exotic World.

Hosted by Margaret Cho with El Vez, the 16th annual Miss Exotic World Pageant will be held for the first time in fabulous Las Vegas, at Celebrity from May 26 to 28.

Ranging in age from 18 to their mid-80s, the lusty ladies who perform each year are clearly revered as goddesses by their loyal -- if not overly enthusiastic -- camera-toting admirers. Why? Perhaps because young or old, new to the scene or a seasoned pro, they all seem to share a unique knack for imbuing even the most innocent of gestures -- a wink, a blown-kiss, even a demure half-smile -- with the impact of a K-O punch.

A "strictly PG-13" event, Miss Exotic World is a delightful reminder that, in a day and age in which we've become increasingly desensitized to sex and sexuality, there was a time that (when done with the right amount of skill and sass) what one concealed could be even more tittilating that what they revealed.

Special performances by Dirty Martini (Miss Exotic World '04), Erochica Bamboo (Miss Exotic World '03), Kitten DeVille (Miss Exotic World '02), The World Famous Pontani Sisters and an all-star fashion show featuring hand-beaded burlesque creations by Kiva, the Queen of Fans.


Exotic World Weekend All-Star Closing Gala:

Hosted by Miss Astrid of the legendary Va Va Voom Room, celebrate the close of Exotic World Weekend: Las Vegas or BUST with a once in a lifetime, not-to-be-missed evening of award-winning burlesque and live music, featuring encore performances from 2005's titleholders, including Miss Exotic World 2005 Michelle L'amour, Legend in the Making Venus DeMille, Best Troupe The Wau Wau Sisters, Best Newcomer Diamondack Annie and special guests Margaret Cho, The World Famous Pontani Sisters and a veritable "who's who" of the world's top teasers--including international superstarlets, previous Exotic World titleholders, and other special surprise guests.


Workshops By Tease-O-Rama:

Dear Tease-O-Rama friends, fans, exotics, peelers, strutters and twirlers, This year has brought a lot of exciting changes to all of us citizens of the exotic w orld. The team behind Tease-O-Rama was super-psyched and pleased to hear that Dixie and Tempest and Exotic World Museum have made the decision to get their tassels out of the tumbleweeds and into the bright lights of Las Vegas, and we can't wait to see how Luke, Laura, Jaye and the other friends of Exotic World will be celebrating that move with what we know will be the most spectacular striptease reunion and pageant yet. In fact, the producers of Tease-O-Rama are so excited we decided to join forces and travel to Vegas for Exotic World! That's right - on the heels of record-breaking attendance at the September Tease-O-Rama Convention in San Francisco, we will be taking our show on the road. Without Exotic World helping to keep burlesque traditions alive and well over the years, Tease-O-Rama might never have happened, and we're pleased as punch to be partnering up with such a venerable event.

At this year's Exotic World weekend, attendees and performers will be able to avail themselves of the daytime classes, workshops, panels and presentations we offer every year at Tease-O-Rama. On Saturday and Sunday, look for Tease-O-Rama's erudite ecdysiasts presenting a selection of crowd favorites from the Tease-O-Rama daytime convention.
