Jason Sechrest has had quite a month! "Queer as Folk" star Hal Sparks started a standing ovation for the first-ever live preview of his cabaret act and The TV Guide Channel has raved he's "the gayest of the gay!" Now, Sechrest is bringing his act to the weekly show "Porn Star Karaoke" at Sardo's on Tuesday, May 10th from 9:00 pm - 2:00 am where he'll guest host and perform intermittently throughout the evening.

"It's a little bit of standup, a little bit of showtunes and a whole lot of porn stars!" says Sechrest, most known for his award-winning web site JasonCurious.com, where porn aficionados can live vicariously through he who knows every porn star you've ever wanted to sleep with -- female or male, straight or gay. "It'll be a very different evening for 'Porn Star Karaoke' because I'll be bringing in quite a mixed crowd of both straight and gay porn stars and porn fans, which is something I know the girls especially will get a kick out of!"

Sechrest's previews thus far have all brought down the house, including his last gig at the King King in Hollywood where he was honored with a standing ovation after each song. "I've just been slowly taking different bits of material to different clubs around the Hollywood area and testing the audiences, seeing what works and what doesn't. It'll probably take a good year for me to put the whole show together, but I'm loving these test runs. I don't think I've ever really felt more alive than I do when I put on some eyeliner, don a poncho, throw my hand up in the air and belt a Liza tune!"
