The 2008 XBIZ Awards has launched its official website at XBIZAwards.com. Once again anchoring the XBIZ Hollywood '08 Industry Conference, the XBIZ Awards ceremony will take place Feb. 7 at The Highlands in Hollywood, Calif., and this year will break new ground by featuring an expanded list of award categories.

XBIZ has announced that Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane (www.jessejane.com) and adult industry personality Kevin 'KB' Blatt will host the awards show, accompanied by many other adult stars to be announced later.

"I am so excited to be asked to host the award show,' Jesse Jane said. 'I love XBIZ. This is a huge honor, and you know KB and I are gonna rock it!"

Jane is one of only a few adult entertainment performers to attain true superstar status. It took only three years for the blond, green-eyed beauty from Fort Worth, Texas, to move from Hooters manager to Hawaiian Tropics pageant winner to international fame with a Digital Playground contract.

A legend in his own time, Blatt has been in the adult entertainment business for 11 years, working in public relations and affiliate marketing for a number of leading companies. He currently is the director of public relations for GameLink, but is perhaps best known for his recent foray into sex-tape brokering and reality TV.

As the star of the mainstream documentary "American Cannibal," Blatt has garnered a decade's worth of publicity as the 'sleazy porn guy' who steals the movie with his witty observations and humor. He currently is shopping a reality show project, "Virgin Territory," but will take time from his hectic schedule to grace the stage of the 2008 XBIZ Awards.

The Players Ball will take center stage as the official after-party for XBIZ Awards.

"XBIZ Hollywood has always been a top-notch webmaster show," D-Money said. "For me, throwing a Players Ball in my own backyard will be extra fun. Our party has been known to attract many celebrities over the years. I'm sure this L.A. party will bring many more."

Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, The Players Ball is an excellent way to close out the XBIZ Awards, offering an after-party unlike any XBIZ has done before. The Players Ball is closing 2007 stronger then ever, having thrown five blowout events in just a year. Rapper Ice Cube performed a full impromptu concert earlier this year, and for the upcoming Players Ball, DJ Quik and AMG have been selected to bring the house down.

"It's an L.A. event, so we wanted to have one of the biggest West Coast rap producers/rappers around, DJ Quik," D-Money said. "His lyrics are true to our game, very sexual. I know the crowd will dig this one, even if they don't know DJ Quik."

D-Money also said he's especially excited that this Players Ball will begin as soon as the XBIZ Awards end, meaning DJ Quik will begin performing almost immediately for an already packed house.

"I guarantee this Players Ball will be one of the best yet," D-Money said.

In addition to information about the 6th Annual XBIZ Awards, which has earned industry-wide recognition as one of the grandest industry ceremonies of the year, the website features a complete list of the 2008 award categories, photos from last year's event and detailed information on how nominations can be submitted to XBIZ. The nominee submission period begins Nov. 1 and lasts until Dec. 31.
